Journalists and Academics Forum (Juara)

Undip initiated the Journalists and Academics Forum (Juara) which aims to build a platform for journalists and academics to color the public space. UNDIP is committed to becoming a center for dialogue and knowledge that advances democracy in Indonesia. This forum is important amidst the wave of disinformation that has hit the world, which has had a serious impact on the nation.

Poverty Alleviation

Data from 2023 shows that there are 3.79 million poor people in Central Java Province, or around 10.77% of the total population. This figure refers to the number of people who have monthly expenses below IDR 472,525, the poverty line set by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This confirms that poverty is still a serious problem that requires immediate solutions.
As a form of UNDIP’s commitment to supporting poverty alleviation, UNDIP continues to develop various innovative programs aimed at improving people’s welfare.
