UNDIP’s 68th Anniversary: Noble Innovation for a Valuable Nation

The 68th Anniversary of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) reaffirms its position as a noble and valuable research university aligned with the spirit of Diktisaintek Berdampak, through the theme “Noble and Valuable UNDIP.” Appreciation from the Government and Legislature, perspectives from the academic community, as well as support from alumni and the younger generation, place UNDIP as a pioneer of sustainable research and impactful innovation that provides tangible contributions to national strategic sectors. Altogether, these appreciations strengthen UNDIP’s role as a center for social, economic, and environmental solutions relevant to Indonesia’s development.

Poverty Alleviation

Data from 2023 show that there were 3.79 million people living in poverty in Central Java Province, representing approximately 10.77% of the total population. This figure refers to individuals whose monthly expenditure is below Rp 472,525, the poverty line established by Statistics Indonesia (BPS). This condition underscores that poverty remains a serious issue requiring immediate solutions. As a form of UNDIP’s commitment to supporting poverty alleviation, UNDIP continues to develop various innovative programs aimed at improving community welfare.
